Big Leaf Maple | Acer macrophyllum






Description
Large branching deciduous tree that grows over 100 feet tall. Its bark is grey-brown and often covered in mosses, lichens, and ferns. The leaves are lobed, 6″-12″ wide. The flowers are bell-shaped and hang down in a clustered raceme from branches in early spring into summer.
