Twilight Tour: Grand Oaks Neighborhood

May contain: advertisement, poster, herbal, herbs, and plant

Join us and other community conservation leaders as we introduce you to conservation/restoration areas you may not know about or normally have access to, provide ideas and resources for backyard conservation, and inspire you to undertake your own conservation efforts – big or small.

All tours will meet at 5:30 and run until about 7pm. You will receive details about your selected tour(s) the week before the tour date.

The Grand Oaks HOA is implementing a management plan written by volunteers and approved by the city for highly protected significant vegetation (Oregon White Oak) in their neighborhood. Join Grand Oaks Landscape Committee members to hear about lessons learned, future plans which include planting native grasses, flowers, and shrubs, and discuss how to address the challenges presented by the interface of natural areas and highly maintained common and private spaces.
